Air Pollutants Cause Air Pollution:
There are many air pollutants that are responsible for causing the air pollution and make the air contaminated. Some important pollutants that take part in causing the air pollution are carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and many other compounds that contain the carbon in large amount such as organic compounds. These toxic components or the chemicals mixed with air of the environment and make the air polluted.

Cause of Air Pollution:
there are many things present on the environment that are responsible for the cause of air pollution but the earth has some features that it can purify the air from pollutants on his own .As different types of pollutants are involved in spreading the air pollution. Different causes of air pollution are present in our environment, some are based on the natural sources and some are based on the created pr the technological sources. Some common causes that are involved in the contamination of the air and also responsible for different types of diseases such as health hazards are as follows

Combustion Engines:
The vehicles that are used for the sake of transportation is the one of the major cause of the air pollution because in these vehicles an engine is present that have combustion property. As we know that they can consume the fuel for their working but at the same time they can produce different types of chemicals in the result of combustion that release in the air with help of exhaust present in those vehicles. For example cars, jet engines, trucks etc.

Power Plants:
Different types of power plants that are used for power generation with the help of different types of fossil fuels. Some factories that use fossil fuels for the sake of their production are also fall in this category. So, when the coal wit the oil burnt it can produce different types of harmful gases that contribute in causing the air pollution. Due to this many plants and building destroys.

Refining of Petroleum:
Refineries that are used to refine or purify the petroleum from different unwanted components present in it are also included in the cause of air pollution. Because in refining the petroleum different types of hydrocarbons are required tat can pollute the environment with the unwanted hydrocarbons.

Power Generation Cables:
Different types of power cables that are used to generate or transport the electricity from one place to another are also responsible for causing the air pollution because due to their bad insulation the power line leakage is caused due to the movement of the high voltage in them, take part in spreading the air pollution.

Pesticides or Insecticides:
Different types of chemicals are used to get rid of the attack of the different types of pest and the insects on the plants, on the humans and also on the important crops are also the ways to cause the air pollution because when we spray the pesticides over the large area some chemical is evaporated and pollute the air. This produces the respiratory problems.

New Indoor Materials:
Some type of air pollution is also caused by the different type of new material that are used in the offices or in the new buildings such as new carpets, new paint etc. This pollution is categorized due to bad ventilation. It can cause the sick building syndrome.
